Precision Microdrives have designed and developed Nano Planetary™ DC gearmotors for optimum efficiency and superior performance. These tiny planetary DC gear motors pack a lot of power! They are suitable for applications in the areas of industrial / consumer actuators or medical equipment. Depending on your application, choose either the high speed or the high torque. What makes these DC geared motors special is the fact that they contain two or more gears per stage. This allows the torque load to be distributed equally between the gears. Load sharing makes it possible for the gears to have smaller gear teeth and face width. Precision Microdrives stock a variety of different motor diameters in the Nano Planetary™ range:

6mm Models

Nano Planetary™ DC gear motor model 206-101 is used as a building block for miniature consumer applications, medical instruments, or automotive applications. The 206-102 model, as with other 6mm motors, demonstrates an impressive level of design and precision manufacturing. Model 206-108 consists of a 6mm coreless design with Neodymium rare earth magnets. The planetary gearbox, a result of high-quality precision injection moulding using a plastic composite, has a gear ratio of 700:1.

10mm Models

Nano Planetary™ DC gear motor model 210-002 is used to generate accurate motion similar to that required for a miniature desktop printer. It is equipped with a cross-shaped output shaft that ensures zero slip transmission, making it quite unique in design and performance. It also consists of a planetary (epicyclic) gearbox coupled with a three pole 10mm flat sided ferrite motor. Precision Microdrives has delivered a very high-quality lightweight injection-moulded gearbox assembly for this model. If necessary, use the two mounting flanges for ease of mounting.

12mm Models

Nano Planetary™ DC gear motor model 212-108 generates accurate motion similar to that required for a miniature desktop printer or similar device. Like the model 210-002, the 212-108 is equipped with a cross-shaped output shaft that ensures zero slip transmission, making it quite unique in design and performance. It consists of the planetary (epicyclic) gearbox, coupled with a three-pole 12mm ferrite motor. Again, our high-quality lightweight injection-moulded gearbox assembly is used for model 212-108.
