High quality 3 pole 12mm ferrite motor with a spur gear open gearbox, steel geartrain and sintered bronze bearings. The double shaft unit features an ungeared extended shaft protruding from the motor case. This is suitable for mounting encoders or other drive components for feedback control or actuation. Used by modellers for animating static displays, robotics enthusiasts, and industrial actuators (e.g. locking mechanisms). Originally designed for focusing rings on professional video cameras.

High precision planetary (epicyclic) gearbox coupled to a 3 pole 12mm ferrite motor. The unit features a lightweight injection-moulded gearbox assembly and is manufactured to an extremely high quality. The unit was developed for generating the accurate motion required in miniature desktop printers. The planetary geared motor has a unique cross-shaped output shaft which is ideal for zero slip transmission.
