To standardise the supply agreements for international sales, there is a widely used global convention to categorise the terms of goods transactions called INCOTERMS.
For the majority of our international sales, our terms fall under either CPT or FCA as follows:
CPT (Carriage Paid To Delivery Address)If you are using our transport services (Royal Mail or UPS), we will arrange the delivery with our carrier and inform you of the company and tracking information. The goods are insured against loss or damage during transportation by the carrier. FCA London (Free Carrier)If you would like to request for us to ship the goods with your own shipping accounts, our terms for transactions becomes FCA where we are responsible to hand goods to your named carrier from our base in London only. |
For volume shipments by freight, or supply from any other location other than our London base, we're happy to arrange the goods on suitably appropriate terms.
We work with; USD (United States Dollar), GBP (British Pound Sterling), and EUR (Euro).
For arranging payments, we accept Mastercard, Visa and American Express credit cards for GBP, EUR and USD payments, or a direct bank wire transfer for GBP, EUR and USD currencies. Please note that wire transfers will incur additional service charges from your bank, so please check with them as this varies from bank to bank.
Duties and taxes levied by your local customs varies from country to country and there are some additional rules which apply to supply to countries within the European Union (EU).
Outside of the EU the sale is simply considered to be a full export, our systems will automatically remove any tax charges from your order and invoice.
What this means is that you will not be paying any tax or duties within the UK and any applicable tax and duties will be applied when the goods go through customs at your end.
Within the EU, tax is simply calculated as though you are in the UK and value added tax (VAT) is charged on your order. This is the only tax applicable and you will not have any additional charges from your local customs thanks to the EU single market system.
The exception is if you are an EU VAT-registered business where you can 'zero-rate' the VAT charges against your EU VAT code. Please let us know your EU VAT code, or submit your order with this in the online checkout to 'zero-rate' against VAT. You will need to enter your full VAT code including the 2-letter country identifier; e.g GB900123884
