 During 2009, the standard rate of VAT was reduced to 15% between 1 December 2008 and 31 December 2009 for sales of products within the UK and non-registered VAT across the EU. As we approach the end of the year, the UK government has confirmed that the 17.5% VAT rate will return into force from 1 January 2010. |
