Introducing Precision Microdrives

We are a fast growing technology company based in London, UK, that specialises in precision engineered miniature electro-mechanical mechanisms. We supply miniature motors, geared motors, vibration motors and technology bundles for haptic feedback. We also develop customised mechanisms for medical, automotive and industrial customers.

Precision Microdrives was founded in 2003 by two friends from London's prestigious Imperial College of Technology (Europe's answer to MIT for those of you over the pond), the company has since grown on the foundation of a superb quality and delivery infrastructure, coupled with an passion for technical excellence.

Our small but highly capable hand-picked team are committed to delivering high quality miniature motor mechanisms, 'On Time & To Spec', as our mission dictates.

We have an office in Shenzhen, China which overseas the production of our motor products, using the best quality sub-components commercially available. All manufacturing is undertaken on ISO 9001 production lines and the entire operation is coordinated by us through a completely bespoke in-house ERP web-application. This has evolved over the last 10 years and has been specifically designed to deal with the peculiarities of motor manufacture.

Our London sales office also incorporates a fully equipped electronics lab with state-of-the-art, bespoke apparatus and equipment, designed to efficiently measure a wide range of electrical and mechanical miniature motor specifications. We also store there a wide range of parts in quantities suitable for prototyping and small production runs with same-day dispatch via UPS for international customers or Royal Mail's special delivery for UK based customers.

Our customers base is diverse both in markets, size and geography. We deal with customers worldwide and whilst English is our preferred language, particularly for technical correspondence, we're happy to discuss commercial terms in French, German, Spanish, Italian and Japanese.
